The insulation piercing fuse holders developed to used in photovoltaic solar cable network up to 1.5KV DC or electrical ABC cable at the voltage up to KV, to prevent large currents from damaging the cable line or equipment.

This piercing type fuse holder does not require to remove the insulation of conductors, just insert suitable power cable and tighten the shear head nut, the inner metal teeth will pierce the cable jacket and realize stable electrical contact. It will help user to save time and costs during outdoor solar photovoltaic cable deployment.

Sealing is simply restored after closing, bolts are fully insulated and electrical safe. Non-detachable shear head bolts secured from falling, the contact teeth are suitable to use with both copper and aluminum cable, also for double jacket cable.

The insulation piercing fuse holder is made of UV resistant plastic, with high mechanical strength. Water ad dust protection grade is IP-67, passed the essential type test conforms to EMC, EN-50483-4, NFC 33020. Jera has its own laboratory to do related tests during daily production or new products development.
